How to know that you get diabetes?

When there are symptoms of diabetes or suspect that their diabetes should test blood sugar.

(1) Random blood glucose measured at any time that the blood sugar level, such as> 200mg/dl (11.1 mmol / L), proved to have diabetes.

(2) fasting blood glucose or fasting overnight (at least 8 to 10 hours did not eat anything) measured blood glucose levels.

① if> 140mg/dl (7.0 mmol / L), and diabetes symptoms, proved to have diabetes

② 115 ~ 140mg/dl in between, should be further examination;

③ If <115mg/dl, only that the normal fasting blood glucose.

(3) oral glucose tolerance test:

① If no symptoms, but the fasting blood glucose> 140mg/dl, served two hours after the blood sugar glucose> 200mg/dl, proved to have diabetes

② no symptoms, and fasting blood sugar <140mg/dl,> 200mg/dl, such as meal 1 hour or 3 hours of blood glucose> 200mg/dl, the diagnosis can be.

③ symptoms, as long as the fasting plasma glucose or postprandial blood glucose two hours of an exception can be diagnosed.
